You can’t trade Victini on GTS, how that’s fair?
Uh, yes you can. The Liberty Island Victinis do not have any ribbon preventing them from being traded on GTS. If you got one in B/W, you can pokebank the Victini, place it in your XY game, and then trade it to whoever you want via GTS.
There were event Victinis in the Cherish Ball who couldn’t be traded, but those were given away AFTER the original Liberty Ticket giveaway had ended.
My problem was that I got my freaking game stolen and by the time I had saved up to buy a replacement, I couldn’t get the Liberty Ticket anymore. Since I hadn’t seen a Victini in the replacement game (they aren’t wild in normally accessible areas, and no trainer uses them), I couldn’t request one.
If I knew how to activate the ‘walk anywhere’ cheat, I would have been able to get Victini off Liberty Island at any moment, that’s what most B/W hackers did.
So take your stupid Picard meme and stfu. It IS possible to get Victini through legitimate events or through hacking.
You can also make duplicates through pokemon cloning (taking advantage of the lag time during trades to ‘trick’ the game into thinking you kept Victini, while a friend’s game thinks Victini has arrived in trade.
Your friend’s pokemon will then be erased, that’s why people offer to trade a Victini for low level pokemon.)
Any non Cherish Ball event Victini CAN be traded on the GTS.
For the record, my brother tried to trade his Victini from Liberty Island, and surprise, it did jack. Likewise, I did with a New Moon Darkrai, and DW Arceus, and I got the same “You can’t trade it” message. So I think the original poster has a point here.
